How does a gas plant start up after construction?

Pre – Start – up Checks

Commissioning the Systems

We want to make sure that when we start pumping in the real stuff (gas), there won’t be any embarrassing leaks. The water also helps to clean out any debris that might be left from the construction.

After the water test, we move on to the air system. We blow air through the pipes to check the pressure and flow. This helps us understand how the pipelines will behave under normal conditions. Gas Introduction

This helps them build confidence and be prepared for anything that might happen during actual operations.

The First Batch of Product

Once the gas plant is running smoothly and the operators are well – trained, we can produce the first batch of product. It’s a huge milestone! We collect samples and test them to make sure they meet the quality standards.

The product quality is super important. We want to make sure that our customers get a high – quality gas that they can use safely and efficiently. If the product doesn’t meet the standards, we have to figure out what’s going wrong and fix it.

Post – Start – up Monitoring
